At Last, we have arrived in Goa!!

Hi All,
After leaving Heathrow on Wednesday evening, we have after a long journey arrived in Goa. Getting here took two flights and an overnight stop over in Sri Lanka. Whilst we were in Sri Lanka we had a thunderstorm, but luckily it only lasted a few hours, so it didn't stop us from catching up with a few hours sleep. The second leg of the journey from Sri Lanka to Goa involved an early start leaving around 2 am to catch the second flight into India.

After a short coach journey we have settled into our first stop before getting in the cars for the first time in the morning, were the whole convoy will be going out on a "get to know your car" drive. It will probably be a get used to the hectic roads more than getting used to the car!!

To say the roads are chaos is somewhat of an understatement, traffic seems to do as it pleases, which in some circumstances is fine, but coupled together with no indication you have to invest in reading drivers minds and the ferocity of the horn blowing to have a clue to were each vehicles is going to end up.

We have taken a few choice photo's which we will put on the next edition, which will probably be later on today, as we are both suffering with a bit of jet lag.

I found your text whilst walking through the park this morning, seconds later P phoned to say that you had blogged.
Enjoy yourselves - I hope that Steve can stay awake, that, your gentle driving doesn't cause him to nod off.
Sleep tight.
